This book was not created by me, but by my community of friends.
Friends who gave me inspiration, honesty, encouragement and time.
I’m thankful I didn’t have more confidence in myself; if I did, I would have been less likely to involve my community so intricately in the making of this book. If I hadn’t had to push through deep insecurities and face my fears, I doubt I would have been able to create the characters as they are.
